Our Mission
Th role of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce is to foster an alliance between business owners, residents, and local government. Through mutual exchange of services and information, the chamber of commerce strives to promote Yorba Linda as a desirable community in which to conduct business, live, shop, and visit.
About Us
The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization designed to improve the business climate and quality of life for both our members and the businesses they represent. Our services are aimed at bringing together members of the community on the platform of education, networking, and most importantly, creating rewarding relationships.
Every day, the chamber helps small businesses and corporations grow to better serve our community. Our staff supports the planning and development of specialty events which keeps the community connected and informed.
Committees
A strong chamber represents a strong business community, and no organization can grow without the support of its members.
The Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce has five standing committees:
Business Development
The members of Business Development plan, promote, and work on several annual events and projects, including business outreach, Community Faire Chili Cook-Off & Car Show, and the Shop Yorba Linda Campaign.
Ambassadors Committee
The Ambassador Committee develops a strong connection between the Chamber members to attract and retain membership. Ambassadors assist with annual membership drives, Meet and Greet Receptions, Network Connection Luncheons, breakfast meetings, mixers, ribbon cuttings, and other Chamber specialty events.
Community Events
Members of this committee plan, promote, and execute several annual fundraisers. These community events increase awareness of the Chamber and its members. Projects include: Holiday on Main Street, Casino Night, Police/Fire/Emergency Breakfast, Installation of New Board Members and Awards, Taste of Yorba Linda.
Education Committee
The Education Committee fosters and strenghtens the partnership between local businesses, schools, and the community. Specific projects include: Principal for a Day, Education Roundtable, Focus on Youth Golf Tournament, student recognition and scholarship awards, Business Booster Club, Jump Start Your Business Seminars.
Government Affairs- NOCLA
North Orange County Legislative Alliance (NOCLA) members work to analyze various city, county, and state-wide legislative issues in order to make reccomendations to the board of directors.
