UPDATE ON STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS The Yorba Linda Chamber Education Committee reviewed the scholarship applications on Friday, May 4th.  The committee selected 20 scholarship winners and they are:   First Bank Scholarship for $500. goes to:   Katie Brisin Gas Company Scholarships for $1000. each goes to:  Fredi Morales and Marissa Yeandle Fullerton College Scholarships for $500. each goes to:  Alyssa Kimble, Peyton Lemke and Nicolette Belk The IMHOF Scholarship for $500. goes to:  Erica Enos Capstone Dental Scholarship for $500. goes to:  Jacqueline Cortes Special Scholarships for a child of a Chamber Member or a Student who works for a Chamber member $500. each, goes to:   Nathan Javid, Lauren Brown and Kit Loughran Other Chamber Scholarships of $500. go to:  Erkia Roell, Ashley Janowicz, Breana Fulinara, Allison Smith, Amy Tebay, Cynthia Denesa, Cara Ta, Ryan Marquiss and Joshua Cox. Congratulations!  A letter will be sent to all students the week of May 7-11 PLEASE NOTE:  The Scholarship Breakfast for the winners will be held on Wednesday, May 30th at Black Gold Golf Club at 7:30 am.  Invites will be sent to the students and parents. ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS - In the Chamber Magazine  The Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce is changing the newsletter; it will become a 20-page Magazine with a totally new look and new name beginning with the July, 2012 issue.  It will offer you a great opportunity to advertise your business by placing a Business Ad in various sizes. The Magazine will be printed quarterly.  We will run 2500 copies, sending each of the Chamber Businesses a copy and placing additional copies in local businesses to be picked up by their customers.  We want to get the WORD OUT to everyone on our Chamber Businesses to help them GROW. CAR SHOW APPLICATION - 2012 Attached is the Car Show Application for October 13, 2012.  The Car Show will be held in conjunction with the Business Expo, Chili Cook-off and Craft Show.  Event is to be held at the Yorba Linda Community Center from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
