TASTE OF YORBA LINDA ... JULY 30, 2010 Where  has all the time gone?  The Taste of Yorba Linda is coming up fast ... Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Yorba Linda Community Center from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Featuring Tastes of the Finest: Foods, Desserts, Coffees, Wines &  Beers!  Entertainment by THE PLEASURE TONES along with a dance instructor, Melissa Ames, who will teach the Salsa and the Swing!   There will be a Silent Auction with many gorgeous items to bid on along with a Grand Prize Drawing for a trip to Mexico.   Pre-sale tickets are: $35.00 per person; $40.00 at the door OR a Group rate of 10 tickets for $300.00.  You may RESERVE a table for 10 for $100.00.  There are NO REFUNDS on tickets.  Tickets are the same price for children and adults. BUSINESS OF THE MONTH FOR JULY, 2010 Costco Wholesale was selected as Business of the Month for July, 2010.  Costco Wholesale, otherwise known as Price Club, was the very first membership warehouse club.  The Price Club founder, Sol Price, opened the first warehouse in San Diego on July 12, 1976.  The concept was based on the premise of using buying and operating efficiences to keep costs down and then passing the savings on to members.  The initial Price Club was open only to business owners.  When business started to slow the team fine tuned their merchandise and marketing strategies and soon after Costco Wholesale was founded. Costco of Yorba Linda has been open for twenty years.  We all know Costco very well, it is where you can bulk items and save over the regular retail stores as well as purchase tires, batteries, and automotive supplies.  They have items from furniture, televisions, jewelry, office supplies and seasonal items for the garden.  Before you buy anything, you want to checkout Costco first. We appreciate having Costco Wholesale in our community, many times it is a one-stop shopping experience!  Congratulations on being Business of the Month.
